The Nab is nominally a deer forest on private land. I shot some deer here, with a camera of course, just before and just after taking this photo. The route from here is rather wet and soggy. The peat hags are clear to see in the picture. Bannerdale lies to the left and Ramps Gill to the right, with Ullswater in the distance. Smaller version of this picture.
