There is a highly impressive skyline to the west and northwest from Scout Scar. Peaks showing are, from the left:- Brown Pike; Buck Pike; Coniston Old Man; Brim Fell; Great How Crags and Swirl How; Black Sails and Wetherlam; Crinkle Crags; Bowfell and the Langdale Pikes.
