The fells towering above Mosedale provide a basis for superb walking which the viewer may contemplate for another day. On the left, in the middle ground is Stirrup Crag at the northern end of Yewbarrow. On the horizon lie: Haycock, Red Pike, Scoat Fell, a glimpse of the top of Steeple, Black Crag, Pillar and Kirkfell with a glimpse of High Stile beyond. Larger version of this picture.
