The path to the top of Sty Head, in the middle distance, can be seen beyond the tarn. There is a maze of paths at the col but the way to the Corridor Route (and to Esk Hause) is easy enough to find going uphill into the shadow on the left. The slopes of Scafell Pike appear on the left, separated from Lingmell by Lingmell Col. On the right are the slopes of Great Gable. Larger version of this picture.
