These pages contain photographs of a trip I made to the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria in August 2010. Apart from the walking I visited Sofia, the capital, and Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second largest city. Highlights included walking to all seven of the seven Rila Lakes, and climbing Mount Musala, the highest peak in the Balkans.
