On the left, in the middle distance lies the sprawling expanse of White Fell Head with the twin tops of Fell Head beyond. This ridge descends to the right to Breaks Head from which the path to The Calf can be seen coming over the summit of Bush Howe. From Bush Howe a spur descends to the right to Cobles beyong which is Simon's Seat. The valley is Langdale with West Fell and on the extreme right lies Hooksey, just visible on the horizon.
