Lonscale Fell, on the left, Jenkin Hill, and Skiddaw Little Man, right, appear in the foreground. On the extreme left, in the middle distance, lie the slopes of Blease Fell, Blencathra. Predominant in the distance is the Helvellyn ridge - from the right, beyond Little Man is Seat Sandal, Helvellyn, the peak of Catstye Cam, Raise, the cleft of Sticks Pass, Stybarrow Dodd and Great Dodd. The High Street ridge lies beyond slightly confusing matters. High Street itself is beyond and slightly to the left of Great Dodd making the latter look more extensive than it is, and Thornthwaite Crag, slightly to the left of Stybarrow Dodd, makes the latter appear to have two summits.
