On the left are the afforested slopes of Seat How, and across the Derwent Valley lie Ullock Pike, Skiddaw, Skiddaw Little Man, Bowscale Fell, Lonscale Fell and Blencathra. Great Mell Fell and Little Mell Fell appear in the distance, then Clough Head, a glimpse of Randerside through the gap, Great Dodd with Walla Crag beyond Derwentwater in front, Stybarrow Dodd with Barrow just across Coledale in front, Raise with Bleaberry Fell in front, White Side, Catstye Cam, Helvellyn with High Seat in front, Nethermost Pike with Catbells in front and Rowling End in front of that, A patch of Dollywagon Pike appears through the cloud, the shapely top of Causey Pike lies beyond Outerside. In the distance, in front of the cloud is Ullscarf with Maiden Moor in front, then partly obscured by cloud is High Raise with High Spy in front and Scar Crags in front of that, which extends in front of Harrison Stickle and Pike O'Stickle. Dale Head and Hindscarth appear beyond the gap between Scar Crags and Sail, with Great Gable among the clouds beyond. The bulke Eel Crag and Grasmoor follow with Red Pike in the gap between them. Finally there are Sand Hill and the shapely Hopegill Head with Whiteside beyond and then leading down to Ladyside Pike and Swinside. Smaller version of this picture.
