This pretty little tarn is a popular destination for walkers from Patterdale, and for wild campers. The magnificent fells on the horizon are, from the left, St. Sunday Crag, Nethermost Pike, Helvellyn, Helvellyn Lower Man, the shapely cone of Catstye Cam, White Side and Raise.
