On the left is Hobcarton End (of Grisedale Pike) with Seat How beyond, then though the cloud lies Ullock Pike, Long Side, Skiddaw and Skiddaw Little Man. Cloud obscures Blencathra. Grisedale Pike is prominent across the valley, then in the distance are Great Mell Fell (and Little Mell Fell), Clough Head, Great Dodd, Stybarrow Dood (with Bleaberry Fell in front and slghtly to the right), Raise, White Side, Catstye Cam (with High Seat in front and Causey Pike in front of that) and Helvellyn. Scar Crags is on the ridge to the right of Causey Pike, With Ullscarf in the cloudy distance and High Spy closer. Beyond Sand Hill are Sail and Eel Crag with Dale Head between them. Cloud obscures the fells beyond Wandope, High Crag is then visible in the distance then Grasmoor with the formidable Dove Crags showing clearly on its flank. Great Bourne is seen over the shoulder of Grasmoor with Mellbreak across Crummock Water, then Gavel Fell and Blake Fell before Witeside along the ridge from our viewpoint. Fellbarrow is in the distance and Dodd is the offshoot of Whiteside. Smaller version of this picture.
