The Coniston fells (Coniston Old Man, Wetherlam, Swirl How, and Great Carrs) lie beyond Grasmere (lake). Further right lie Pike o'Blisco, Silver How in the middle distance, Crinkle Crags, Bowfell, Harrison Stickle (with Blea Rigg in front), Scafell Pike and Great End, Sergeant Man, Glaramara (peak), High Raise, Greenup Edge, Ullscarf (beyond Helm Crag), Steel Knotts, Skiddaw (through the gap of Dunmail Raise) and the slopes of Seat Sandal.
