Arant Haw in Snow (Howgills) - Northern Panorama

Arant Haw in Snow (Howgills)

On the left is the Lune valley. Linghaw is seen behind the fell rising to the two summits of Fell Head and the top of Break's Head. After the dip comes White Fell Head and the fell rises to The Calf, the highest of the Howgills, almost hidden by Bram Rigg Top. There is a slight dip before the fell rises to the dome-shaped Calders, second highest of these fells. The fell gradually slopes away to Great Drummacks before plunging down to the river Rawthey. In the distance on the right lies Wild Boar Fell. Larger version of this picture.
